The e-bikes, fresh from the workshops of a renowned brand, lay motionless, victims of water and its corrosive power. No mechanic dared touch them, and spare parts were as elusive as the gold of the Incas.
Driven by a spirit of tinkering, I embarked on a daring undertaking: transplanting the control unit. With steady hands and a feverish mind, I adapted components, replaced the pedal sensor and, after a series of almost alchemical adjustments… the machines took flight once more!
