My name is Nina and I was born in an underground city…
My name is Nina and I was born in an underground city, full of screens and smart machines. Here, giant corporations control everything, transforming our reality into a labyrinth of advertising and artificial needs. An object as simple as a chair is reduced to a perfect, sterile design – a symbol disconnected from its meaning. Multinational corporations have stripped the idea of the chair of centuries of craftsmanship, reducing it to a consumer item, devoid of soul and history.
One day, whilst exploring the city’s outskirts, I spotted a small, hidden door. My curiosity prompted me to open it, and with great effort, I found myself in a different world, full of life and colour. Here, everything had genuine meaning and a story to tell. The chair, for example, was a symbol of transformation: a piece of wood, born of nature, shaped by the hands of a craftsman, became an artefact that combined utility and beauty, memory and passion.
In the outside world, I found other people – free spirits – who had turned their lives into poetry. They lived in harmony with nature on platforms built in the trees, creating a community that celebrated simplicity and genuine connection. From them, I learnt three great lessons about living freely: the importance of respecting and living in harmony with nature; the value of genuine relationships and sharing; and the beauty of transforming natural elements into artefacts that carry stories and meaning.
I returned to the underground city, determined to share my discoveries. I told my friends about what I had seen and the people I had met. Some listened with interest, whilst others were sceptical. But I knew I had sown a seed of curiosity and hope, which could sprout into a quest for truth and beauty beyond the illusions of consumerism. -

Sex and Death
At the beginning of time, all living things reproduced by mitosis, without sex and without ageing. Imagine a sea of microalgae all the same, multiplying happily. But there was one small problem: with the arrival of an extreme environmental change, these identical algae were in trouble. The Creativity of Life decided it was time to change things. ‘Let’s do something extraordinary!’ he thought. And he invented meiosis, a process in which two cells joined together to create a new, unique and special one. That was how sex made its appearance on planet earth. But the Creativity of Life did not stop there. ‘What about the ‘parents’?’ he asked himself. ‘We eliminate them, so there is room for the best fruit!’ he said with a mischievous grin. And so, he invented both sex and death, two inseparable allies in the game of life -

A cyclist is a disaster for capitalism:…
A cyclist is a nightmare for capitalism: they don’t buy a car, nor do they have to take out a loan to buy one; they don’t need insurance or petrol; they spend very little on servicing and repairs; they don’t spend money on car parks; they don’t cause serious accidents; and they don’t require major roads. They don’t put on weight.
Healthy people aren’t necessary or useful to capitalism either. They don’t buy medicines. They don’t go to hospitals or see doctors. They add nothing to the country’s GDP (gross domestic product). On the contrary, every new fast-food outlet creates at least 30 jobs: 10 cardiologists, 10 dentists, 10 nutritionists and, obviously, jobs for the people working in the restaurant.” -
