It sings to the sea, waves of notes crashing against the sky.

The sea listens, in silence, whilst the stars dance to the rhythm of love, which is the only thing that makes sense.

The strings vibrate, telling tales of dreams and hopes, of a world where love is the only truth.

And the boy, with eyes like the moon, smiles knowingly at the sea, knowing that infinity lies hidden within that song

The Valley of the Eternal Father: A Haven of History and Nature
The Valley of the Eternal Father is not a valley in the traditional sense, but rather a sheltered crevice in a majestic mountain. Its history is steeped in Arab influences, evident in the Cerro Negro irrigation channel – the most central of the three – in the Arab mill wheel still present in the watercourses, and in the layout of the altar in the old chapel, which resembles that of a mosque.
What makes this place unique is its development as a natural forest where life thrives in syntropy. Following a sudden exodus in the 1960s, the valley fell into neglect. However, the new settlers, inspired by the liberal ideals of the time, decided to cooperate spontaneously with the wild nature that was emerging. Decades later, part of the Valle del Padre Eterno has been transformed into a forest of native species, whose seeds were dispersed and nourished by the system of irrigation channels.
The absence of roads and cars, as well as of metal fencing between the farms, allows wild animals to move freely, enriching the ecosystem. Humans, essential for their work in irrigation and maintenance, blend into their surroundings in a symbiotic symphony of plants, mycelium and animals.
This diverse community, like the forest that unites it, is enriched by its diversity. The local residents call them ‘cats’, possibly because some of the irrigation takes place at night, and the early settlers, without torches, would have developed some sort of ‘superpower’. According to the saying, “those who irrigate using the surplus water from the Cachariche irrigation channel receive water from the moment the evening shadow reaches the junction with the Bubión road until dawn”. What happens when it’s cloudy? It’s a mystery. What is certain is that this place still needs people to maintain it and ensure its prosperity. It is one of those jobs that are nowadays described as “resilient to artificial intelligence” and impossible to mechanise.

School’s back in session! This is my fourth year as a carpenter at the ‘El Sol de la Aurora’ Waldorf School. Here’s my first project of the term: getting the saws ready to make a three-panel blackboard for the new primary classroom. Thank you, Steiner, for your brilliant ideas 💡!

    Love and Quantum Entanglement (anonymous)
At the end of dinner she said to him: ‘Tell me something nice!’.
    He answered her by writing on a handkerchief: ‘(∂ + m) ψ = 0’.
The light from the candles she had placed on the table dimly illuminated the equation. She approached confused and asked, ‘What is this?’
He smiled smugly at her: ‘It is the formula for entanglement, quantum entanglement! If two systems interact with each other for a certain amount of time and then are separated, they can no longer be described as two separate systems, but become one system… just like us.’
She smiled back, blushing. She stood up and took an extension cord from a piece of furniture. She approached him, murmuring persuasively in his ear, ‘Close your eyes’.
He looked at the cable and obeyed, a dumb smile on his face, ‘Do you have… particular tastes?’ he asked.
In response she quickly wrapped the extension cord around his neck and said, ‘Untangle yourself from this!’
The boy tried to free himself but to no avail. The extension cord was frayed and myriads of sharp copper wires were sticking into his flesh like so many pins. Each attempt wound him more and more tightly to the wire.
The girl finished tying him up and said: ‘First, the equation is all wrong. There goes a minus in front of the mass, the imaginary quantity in front of the derivative, and the derivative is cut off: (i∂̸-m)ψ=0′. He took a wooden ladle and hit him on the head!

Almost new, used only about 10 times. It looks…

A semi-new idea, used only about 10 times. It’s missing a few rapper lyrics and the sound of a police siren passing by in the background. Broad, minimalist beats, with hints of an 80s vibe peeking through. There’s also scope to throw in a bridge, although it seems that by 2024 this won’t be a fashionable device any more
