One day, a mountain asked the wayfarer:
‘If you go up and down, up and down, when will you reach the summit?’
The wayfarer replied: ‘Every time I go down, I am coming down from the summit.
Every time I go up, I am climbing from the base.’
The mountain laughed: ‘Then there is no base, there is no summit.’

A teacher brought balloons to his school and gave one to each pupil. He then instructed them to write their names on their balloons, leave them on the floor and leave the classroom.
Once outside, he told them: “You have five minutes for each of you to find the balloon with your name on it.” The pupils went back in and searched, but the five minutes were up and nobody had managed to find theirs.
The teacher then said to them: “Take any balloon and give it to the person whose name is written on it.”
In just a couple of minutes, all the pupils had their own balloon in their hands.
Finally, the teacher said:
“Children, balloons are like happiness. Nobody is going to find it by looking for their own alone. On the other hand, if everyone looks out for each other’s, they’ll quickly find the one that belongs to them.”

The table is flat, a plane of green,
where spheres collide—unfelt, unseen.
Like atoms dance in heated space,
they click and spin with Newton’s grace.First Law: No force, no speed decays,
a rolling ball won’t change its ways.
Yet friction hums, the velvet bite,
translating *v* to warming light.Second Law: The break is cast—
disorder blooms, the scatter vast.
A perfect rack, precise, aligned,
now chaos rules the felted plane. The cue’s firm strike, kinetic art,
transfers its *p* with perfect math.
Elastic shock—no loss, no gain—
yet entropy will break the game.Thermal death? Perhaps. But wait—
one pocket holds a wayward eight.
A quantum joke, a fleeting state,
where chance and law negotiate. -

The golden ratio is therefore an irrational number. It can be approximated by calculating the ratio between consecutive terms (32, 53, 85, …) in the Fibonacci sequence, to which it is closely linked.

“maturity has taught me that I don’t need to confront everything, I just need to silently observe people’s actions and then set boundaries accordingly”
