Once upon a prehistoric time, in a galaxy not s…

Once upon a prehistoric time, in a galaxy not so far away, the Sapiens and Neanderthals had a cosmic rendezvous. The Sapiens, carriers of the dominant gene of narcissism, strutted around with their chins up and chests puffed, convinced they were the universe’s gift to, well, the universe.

The Neanderthals, on the other hand, were the empaths. They thrived in the cozy confines of their subterranean temples, whispering sweet nothings to their sensitive women and painting their cave walls with dreams and stardust.

But then came the Great Absorption. The Sapiens, with their extroverted, party-animal genes, threw the bash of the millennium. It was so epic that even the reclusive Neanderthals couldn’t resist. They emerged from their caves, blinking in the sunlight, and were swept up in the Sapiens’ conga line of celebration.

As the party raged on, the Neanderthals’ introversion was no match for the Sapiens’ charisma. They traded their silent prayers for loud toasts, their cave paintings for selfies with the Sapiens. And as they intermingled, something magical happened.

Their genes danced together in the moonlight, twirling and swirling until they were one. The Sapiens’ narcissism mellowed by the Neanderthals’ empathy, forging a new breed of human. This modern human carried the legacy of both – the Neanderthals’ deep introspection and the Sapiens’ unbridled joy.

And so, dear reader, next time you feel the urge to retreat into your cave or dance under the stars, remember the cosmic party that brought us all together. For in the grand tapestry of life, we are but stardust and echoes of that first prehistoric shindig.
